    Responsibilities:

    • Perform compilation engagements

    Qualifications:

    We are currently seeking an experienced administrative support person. Candidates must have administrative support or secretarial experience to be considered for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Typing general correspondence, engagement letters, transmittal letters, etc.
    • Printing/assembling tax packages for our clients
    • Type-checking financial statements to include compilations, reviews and audits
    • Printing/assembling financial statement packages for our clients
    • Assembling quarterly and yearly payroll tax packages for our clients
    • Type-checking/finalizing proposals
    • Scanning signed engagement letters, audits, representation letters, audit confirms, etc.
    • Assisting with various client mailings throughout the year
    • Work on special projects
    • Answering phone calls as back-up to the receptionist

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working for a public accounting firm
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
    • Knowledge of CCH products (Tax, Document, Engagement) is a plus
    • Willingness to learn and implement other software programs
    • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, scanners, and printers)
    • Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work within a team
    • Additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant will be a plus
    • High school degree or equivalent (Preferred)
    • 3 Years of experience working in Customer Service (Preferred)

  • 2022 Winter Intern – Audit, Tax and Client Accounting

    Located in Warrenville, Illinois, with three separate client service teams including Audit, Tax and Client Accounting Services, we provide internship experience across all three service areas.  We serve local businesses in a variety of industries, including many non-profit clients.  Travel to some local clients may be required.

    Examples of responsibilities include:

    • Become familiar with the firm technology and software
    • Preparation of audit workpapers and analytics
    • Preparation of corporate and non-profit tax returns and related workpapers
    • Preparation of financial statements
    • Preparation of monthly accounting for clients to include:
      • Bank reconciliations
      • Various account reconciliations
      • Fixed asset schedules

    Requirements:

    • Engaged in accounting, or taxation program at a college or university and interest in pursuing CPA certificate
    • An interest in either auditing, taxation or client accounting services
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Detail oriented
    • Open to students that will have either junior or senior status at time of internship
