    Dugan + Lopatka maintains a group comprehensive major medical insurance and dental plan for employees working 30 hours or more per week.

    The firm maintains a group term life insurance plan for employees working 24 hours or more per week of which the premium is paid by the firm.

    The firm maintains a long term group disability income insurance plan for employees, paid by the firm.

  • 401(k)

    Dugan + Lopatka offers a 401(k) plan with an employer contribution. There is a 90-day wait period to participate.

  • Audit Associate

    Public accounting firm Dugan + Lopatka CPAs is seeking an Audit Associate. In this role, you will work with the Audit Department, conducting a complete range of audit services for our business and nonprofit clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare audit, review, and compilation workpapers for corporations and non-profits
    • Prepare financial statements
    • Perform analytical tests and procedures on attestation engagements
    • Perform inquiries of clients and document accounting systems and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)
    • CPA eligibility (preferred)

  • Audit Manager

    Public accounting firm Dugan + Lopatka CPAs is seeking an Audit Manager. In this role, you will work with the Audit Department, conducting a complete range of audit services for our business and nonprofit clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
    • Perform risk assessment procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAS.
    • Supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams and function as an in-charge facilitating field work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment.
    • Assume the primary interface role with some clients and assume responsibility for information flow from the client to the audit team.
    • Identify and research accounting and auditing matters to ensure compliance with GAAP.
    • Perform Quality Control Reviews of assurance engagements and internal monitoring procedures.
    • Assist in the leadership and growth of the audit department.
    • Train, mentor, and provide feedback and evaluations for audit staff and senior staff.
    • Participate in firm development, marketing activities and client proposals.
    • Ensure professional development through ongoing education.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)
    • 4 years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment, auditing financial statements.
    • Previous experience auditing clients in a variety of industries (preferred)
    • Demonstrated experience and ability to lead client engagements
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Motivation to grow your career and learn new things
    • Ability to thrive in a team environment
