Barb Steinbach is a Manager in the firm’s Tax department.  In addition to her responsibilities as a member of the firm’s Tax Department, Barb is one of the firm’s primary tax people responsible for reviewing tax returns for accuracy and completeness before they are released to our clients and to the IRS.  She is one of our primary experts for not-for-profit tax compliance.

Barb is a 1977 graduate of University of Illinois Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.  She also holds a Master in Taxation from DePaul University.  Barb became a Certified Public Accountant in 1977.

Prior to joining Dugan & Lopatka, Barb was with the accounting firm of Pennell Kerr Forester.  Barb found a home at Dugan & Lopatka in 1988.
