Hugh Elliott, CPA is a principal of the firm and the head of the corporate audit practice for the accounting and consulting firm of Dugan & Lopatka, CPAs, PC in Wheaton, Illinois. In this capacity, Hugh helps his clients with their audit requirements, accounting needs and significant business issues.

In his role at Dugan & Lopatka, he works with companies ranging in size and in a broad variety of industries. This diversity allows Hugh to bring “best practices” across industries in an effort to help clients achieve their goals.

Hugh is a 1985 graduate of Illinois State University. Prior to joining Dugan & Lopatka, he was affiliated with a large regional CPA and consulting firm where he served as a Practice Leader in their Audit and Consulting Department. Hugh has also served as a technical reviewer of financial statements and performed many “peer reviews” of other CPA firms under the AICPA PCPS Guidelines. Hugh became a Certified Public Accountant in February 1987 and is a memeber of ICPAB and AICPA.
